A high flash point, de-aromatised hydrocarbon solvent that may be used as a low odour, non-regulated alternative to Mineral Turpentine, White Spirits or other hydrocarbon solvents in many formulations.

Rust Veto 4214 is a rust preventive that is exceptionally stable in wet conditions, particularly where there is alkaline, acid or solvent emulsion rinse water left on parts. It offers prolonged effectiveness where rinsing is not always thorough. Rust Veto 4214 releases displaced water within minutes and, on evaporation, leaves a very thin, transparent protective film.

Rust Veto® 377-HF actually raises water off wet metal to coat the entire surface with a long-lasting film. The polar attraction for metal makes this preventive “creep” across the metal’s surface, spreading over a large area.

Rust Veto® 342 is our industrial-grade version of Cosmoline® and protects iron and steel for years. Rust Veto 342 is used to protect equipment or material stored in sheds for long periods. Houghto-Safe 620 is a premium water glycol type fire resistant hydraulic fluid designed to provide maximum safety for use under pressure, near open flames or in high temperature areas.

HOUGHTO-GRIND 60 is a synthetic chemical grinding fluid formulated to give maximum rust protection, no foam, no petroleum oil and using surface active compounds to keep the wheel clean. It is used by diluting with water, forming a greenish transparent solution.

HOUGHTO GRIND 50 is a synthetic concentrate readily soluble in water for grinding and machining. It was developed primarily for grinding, but HOUGHTO GRIND 50 also has lubricity and anti-weld additives that make it an excellent coolant for turning and similar operations.

HOCUT 807 is phenol-free and is formulated from solvent refined mineral oil and a composite emulsifier, anti-corrosion,EP lubricating system, providing long emulsion life without the problems associated with coolant degradation, caused by bacterial and fungal contamination. The high degree of corrosion protection has been achieved without the use of nitrite or other undesirable components.

Houghton’s international research and development team have produced a totally new high technology machining and grinding coolant, HOCUT 795. This product provides excellent heavy duty machining performance on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals without the use of chlorinated or sulphurised compounds. It has unique resistance to bacteria and fungal growth that is achieved without the use of traditional biocides.

Cut-Max 226 is formulated with an effective and stable additive package which provides anti-welding and extreme pressure characteristics for difficult operations on hard-to-machine ferrous and nonferrous alloys. Boundary lubricant additives are compounded into the base oil for excellent machining characteristics at all cutting speeds.

Aqua-Quench 251 is an oil free, non-flammable, water soluble synthetic quenchant for the hardening of ferrous alloys and solution treatment of aluminum alloys.

MA-26 us a liquid acidic detergent. It is a a very effective descaler and deruster for ferrous metals. MA-26 will also remove water scale and heat precipitated deposits.

Highly effective cherry scented heavy duty gel hand cleaner. Cherry gel is free of petroleum solvent and contains pumice and skin conditioners to ensure hands are left clean and skin feeling refreshed.

Formstrip 404 is recommended where light build-up of rust exists and it will also remove grease/oil, carbon deposits and paint. It is suitable for the reconditioning of engines for motor vehicles, trucks, and locomotives etc.

The trend, in engine reconditioning plants and workshops, towards the use of spray cleaning has resulted in substantial increase in production throughput. Formspray 50 is specifically designed for use in modern spray cleaning machines for degreasing components and parts.

Flash point is defined as the temperature at which a liquid produces above its surface a vapour, which will ignite when exposed to a spark or naked flame. The higher the flash point, the more difficult the liquid is to ignite. The lower the flash point the easier the liquid is to ignite.

ENVIROWASH is specifically formulated to remove dirt, soils, light oil/grease and road grime from heavy and light vehicles on mine sites. As such it is also a highly effective cleaner for off shore drilling rigs and all types of on and off road vehicles including trucks, railway rolling stock and cars.

An efficient degreaser which rapidly cuts into oils and greases As Grease Off is a high flash point degreaser, it is an excellent product for use in immersion cleaning.

QUICK BREAK is formulated to “break” quickly. This means that the oils and greases separate from the rinse water.
